I’m reluctant to post this review, as this may be one of the best kept secrets for breakfast & lunch in Gville. IMO they have the best biscuit & gravy in town, and add eggs over-easy on top. Wonderful family owned spot & team.

We like to sit at the bar and watch the cook fix our veggie omelette with cracked eggs and our crispy bacon. Grits and potatoes are good too. Friendly waiters.

Our friends talk about this place all the time and now we know why!!!….so good. Burgers r amazing! Eggs w/ corned beef hash and French toast - exceptional. Hard to say which was better: breakfast or lunch. Staff VERY friendly and responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

It's your classic little diner atmosphere. It has about 5 tables and a counter to sit at. My breakfast was perfect! I asked for crispy hashbrowns and they were exactly how I like them. Bacon was the perfect crispiness, eggs fluffy. The biscuit was heaven. I ordered a side of grits and it was a huge bowl and piping hot. The best breakfast I have had in a long time! Luis was our server, he was attentive to our needs and had a great smile. There was a man, not sure if he was the manager or owner but he was checking on everyone and very kind. The prices are more than fair. I have reservations about sharing my favorite places because I don't want it to get to busy but these guy's deserve the recognition. I will definitely be going back!

I was told by a local to try this place, glad I did and I will return. Outside well it's in an older group of stores but do NOT let that stop you from enjoying this place. The menu has a large variety for both breakfast and lunch, staff were professional and friendly! The service was fast, and I was checked on several times to provide coffee and see if my food was to my taste ...it was ! I sat at the counter as I was solo and it is a small location. I enjoyed my food even though I didn't get a photo ...sorry ...I had a egg, cheese and bacon breakfast sandwich....only 6.99 Eggs were cooked perfectly and bacon was plentiful and complimented by a nice piece of cheese on top of the egg. I was watching the food items going out and knew I would be returning...biscuits large and fluffy fresh out the oven came by and I did a double take! I am delighted I have a new local place to visit and have a good meal. I can see this place expanding and being very successful!!!

Super friendly staff, really friendly and neighborhood vibe to the restaurant, and best of all: amazing food for a decent price!! Recommend the corn beef and has and french toast. Also the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had, you won’t regret them if you order it.

Definitely come here over waffle house if you’re in Gainesville! I’ve been coming here for a while now, it’s a nice family run diner, servers are very friendly, food is very good, and price is good for what you get-food that costs $30 at waffle house will cost $17-$20 here-highly recommend going for cost, value, and friendly environment. As well as supporting a small business. Only downside is they’re only open for breakfast and lunch and not 24 hours :( Though I understand why, it’s still unfortunate as I would come here a lot at late night if they were open then-but I highly recommend everybody in Gainesville craving any breakfast food come here-it’s better than any of the chain diners in the area.

Visiting Gainesville and this place came up as top rated. It’s very hole in the wall (rundown vintage vibe) but the food and the service is what matter at a diner. We didn’t try a single bad food item. We had the big boy breakfast, the biscuits and gravy, the French toast, and even the sausages are very good. It was like something you make yourself at home. If you’re looking for luxury breakfast restaurant, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for great food and a diner vibe with great customer service, then give this place a shot.

Glad to have been pointed to this spot. A long standing history with a great reputation that exceeded expectations. Was told about an off menu mix of veggies, sausage, eggs and hash browns that was excellent. Fresh veggies, eggs just right, a good kick with the hot peppers made for a strong and fun breakfast in Gainsville.
